  'Cenacolo' of Sant' Apollonia, Via XXVII Aprile 1, 50129 Florence IT 27-may-2004
The Museum occupies part of the former Benedictine convent of Sant’Apollonia, which was founded in 1339 and later enlarged in the 15th century. Around 1447 Andrea del Castagno frescoed the end wall of the refectory with scenes of the Last Supper, the Crucifixion, Deposition and Resurrection.
The Museum also displays a number of detached frescoes and their underdrawings (sinopie), besides paintings by Paolo Schiavo and Neri di Bicci originally painted for the convent.
Visiting hours: Daily, 8:15-13:50. Closed on the 2nd and 4th Monday and 1st, 3rd and 5th Sunday of each month, New Year’s Day, May 1st and Christmas Day .
Tickets: Free entrance.
